Scooter’s Scoops: E3 2019

So E3 had been going all this past week and quite honestly this is shaping up to be one of the greatest years and 2 years for video games in my opinion in forever. Lets make it more bold: EVER. When you look at some of these game announcements and what the Dev teams are building from specific companies as a gamer you just can’t help but get really really aroused. Let’s break down some of the top games coming out of E3 this year.

Cyberpunk 2077:

The biggest news from the first days of E3 2019 was a bit unusual: Cyberpunk 2077 doesn't just have a release date, it has Keanu Reeves too. Yes, the latest game from CD Projekt Red, does look tight budhole but moreso, it's also got John Wick himself, who actually showed up to announce his part in it. The trailer itself has everything you’d expect. Some humor intensity and an awesome Jon Wick’esque moment followed by Keanu Reeves himself showing up. As thought the level of excitement could not possibly get any higher for this game then it is now. Hands down my most exciting games coming out of E3 for this year.

Borderlands 3:

i could not possibly put into words my love for the first games in this franchise. The querky nature of them and the gooniness Of the characters alone make them stand alone. Then you add in the combat and the world itself into each game and 2K along with gearbox have something special to build on for 3. In a world filled with loot shooters these games are the OG’s and hopefully with 3 they show exactly why they are that. As far as information for the game it’s all over the place and they’ve left just enough for us to stay curious about. As always with these games the closer the release date gets the more info that will leak. I can’t wait for it. Excitement level over here is 💯

Doom: Eternal :

when you look at the history of Doom and the series as a whole these games kick major ass. Who doesn’t enjoy shooting millions of aliens with the BFG (Big Fucking Gun) or better yet stomping there faces into oblivion? That is exactly what this game is promising. Only twist: even more of it now then ever before in this gory series. And I’m extremely excited for it. Building off of the first remake that was done in 2015 if my memory serves me correctly this game has a great base to build off of and an even better development studio. There is zero reason why this won’t be a major seller and a possible GOTY contender.

Elden Ring:

The legends at FromSoftware have teamed up with the slowest well-paid fantasy writer around (George R.R. Martin) to create a new title announced at E3. Elden Ring is said to be the largest, in terms of volume, title from the studio yet, and will be more of an RPG than an action title. This trailer gives us closeups on few armored warriors and one creepy looking … person? who's having an arm attached on top of their existing arm. It’s intriguing as hell but we probably won’t be looking at a release for this game until sometime in 2020.

Check back next thursday for a few more big time games I like coming out of E3 this year as I conclude my synopsis of E3! Make sure to follow on Twitter and Insta @officialbudhole Thanks and always remember to keep a #tightbudhole
