PlayStation Plus Free Games

Every month PlayStation releases games you can download for free. Yes, FREE! The catch, you need to be a PlayStation Plus member. On the bright side, if you have online for PS4, you're already a member and can get these games without having to subscribe to anything!

Bonus: it doesn't need to take up space, technically. You have to initially download but then can delete it from your system, and download later if you want to play. Boom, free games saved to the cloud.

Shadow of the Colossus

PlayStation dropped the remastered version of the PS2 classic game. Essentially you're playing as a man named Wander around a forbidden land to battle big ass colossi (plural for colossus). I've heard that some of the controls are difficult and some people have been having issues with them, but overall the graphics are great and the gameplay is super fun.

Sonic Forces

The other option is to download the 3D, side scroll, Sonic Forces. Truthfully, I don't know much about this game, other than it came out in 2017 and the free option is likely due to the movie release. Here is what Matt Espinelli from Gamespot.com said about the game"Sonic Forces ultimately fails to advance the mechanics of previously successful 3D Sonic games or present them in their best light. A mediocre platformer at best, Sonic Forces manages to do nothing more than reinforce long-held stereotypes against Sega's beloved blue blur,"
