A BudHole means different things to different people. To some, it may be going to your friends parents place and hanging out in their basement playing games on the big screen. It could be the college house where everyone comes over to hangout. Or it could be at your place where the guys come over for the games every Sunday. Regardless on how you utilize your BudHole, there are proper essentials that everyone needs to keep a Tight BudHole.

6. Wifi
This one may not seem like it's an essential for a BudHole, but it sure as shit is. Wifi is an essential for many reasons. You can't expect your buds to come over and use up their data because you're too cheap to muster up the $60 a month for internet. How would you play video games? Check out social media? Or stream the newest shows on #Netflix? Without it, might as well not have people over.
5. Proper seating arrangement
There is nothing worse than going to someones place and having no where to sit. Believe me, my place is like that if I have more than 5 people over. You don't need personalized bean bag chairs for everyone, but something better than your kitchen table chairs or a metal folding chair. You've gotta make sure your buds are comfortable, thats part of hosting.
4. Gaming system
Some people might not be into video games, and those people would be wrong. Having a gaming system is a must for a Tight BudHole. Whether that be #PS4 or #Xbox, just something to throw on for some competition. I remember rocking MW2 every time my friends were over, if it wasn't that, it was Madden. Its definitely a must.
3. TV
When you're not gaming, you need something else to keep the people going. Whether it be you have people over for the games on Sunday, or you're watching the NBA Finals, something has to be on. You don't need to have a 70" UHD 12K Curved TV with Bose surround sound, but you do need something adequate for the buds you have over. If it's you and one or two friends, a 42" will likely suffice. If you're having 3 or more people over, you're going to want a 55" at a minimum. Nothing worse than trying to watch the game while you're huddled around the TV with 5 people so close you can smell them because you're trying to watch on a 32" tv.
2. Cold drinks
Refreshments are arguably the most important thing in a BudHole. Ever been thirsty before? It fucking sucks. I'm not about that life. A couple cases of pop and some water are about as basic as you can go. Ultimately you need multiple different varieties of drinks. Coke products are the best, Pepsi is an alright backup, but don't be shocked when your friends stop coming over. Whether you're a beer drinker, hard liquor connoisseur (ask me all your #CaptainMorgan questions), or white claws, you should have some adult beverages for people to enjoy. Now my friends and family are serious drinking enthusiasts, so if its a party night, its BYOB and thats ok, just make sure you have somewhere for them to store a few cans to keep that shit cold.
1. Snacks
If all the above fails, really the best way to keep the buds coming over is snacks. Listen, you don't have wifi? Thats cool, we'll talk. Not enough chairs? I can sit criss-cross applesauce. No video games or TV? I better really fucking like you. Nothing cold to drink? No worries, I'll just drink piss warm water. No Snacks? Fuck you.
There is nothing worse than going over somewhere and theres nothing to eat. Well actually, if all they have is gluten free fruit snacks and rice cakes, I'd rather starve. If you're all about making a casserole, that's great, I'll eat. But really what will satisfy people the most is basic shit. Here's a short shopping list for you next time you're at the grocery store:
Grocery List:
Chicken strips/nuggets/patties/wings
French fries
Tator tots
Pizza rolls
Pizza
Mini corn dogs
Chips and salsa/dip
Bread/lunch meat/cheese
Fruit roll ups
Cheez it
Oreos (and milk or might as well leave these at the store)
That's a short brief list. Obviously theres a lot of other classics, but you're not going to disappoint with this list.
Let me know if there is anything I missed or if you have some essentials in your BudHole that are a must, I'd love to hear them. You can hit us up on Instagram and Twitter. Also be sure to tune into our weekly podcast we just started up, it's a good listen!
